20th Century Italian Modern Vintage Marble Console Table by Carlo Enrico Rava

A single, vintage Mid-Century modern Italian console table made of hand crafted polished brass designed by Carlo Enrico Rava, in good condition. The detailed demi-lune table is mounted to the wall and is composed with a white Carrara marble top. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1960, Milan, Italy.
Carlo Enrico Rava was an Italian designer, architect and an avid writer, born in 1903, in Cernobbio, Italy and passed away in 1986. He studied at The Polytechnic University of Milan. After his studies, Raba and six other fellow students formed the Gruppo 7 to create a new kind of architecture design, combining classicism and industrial architecture. Later on 1927, when they build Casa Elettrica, they received international recognition at the exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany. During his life time, he designed many furniture as well as buildings. He worked together with well-known architects, such as Luigi Figini and Enrico Griffini.
