20th Century Italian Set of Four White Sheepskin Lounge Chairs by ISA Bergamo

A vintage Mid-Century modern Italian set of four lounge chairs. A pair of large armchairs and a pair of small armchairs, made of a wooden structure. Newly upholstered in white sheepskin. Sleek design with slightly curved armrests, standing on four angled gilded die-cast aluminum feet. Produced by ISA Bergamo in good condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950, Ponte San Pietro, Italy.

I.S.A. Industria Salotti e Arredfamenti, also known as ISA and ISA Bergamo, was an Italian furniture manufacturer, founded in the late 1940’s in Ponte San Pietro, a small village outside of Bergamo, Italy. The company produced work designed by the famous architect and designer Giovanni Ponti. ISA also worked with well-known Italian painter Angelo Morbelli and many other famous artists. Vintage ISA furniture is highly sought after.
