An authentic gilded tulip lamp by Hans Kögl with five tulip blossoms fitted with bulbs, gilt leaves, and a scroll tripod base. Produced in Germany, this mid-century modern floral lamp is a rare and sought-after example of Kögl’s lighting fixtures. Recently rewired, it is fully functional and has retained its original patina. The wiring has been renewed and adapted to US wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1960, Germany.
Hans Kögl (Germany, 1920s–1980s) became internationally known for his dramatic gilt and floral light fixtures. His works, often featuring tulips, leaves, and organic motifs, became icons of Hollywood Regency and mid-century European design.
