Cristal Art

Cristal Art was an Italian glass company based in Turin that succeeded the established glass works of Albano Marcario. From its inception in 1944 until 1980, the company had two artistic directors - Piero Monti and Giuseppe Raimondi - who transformed the company and raised its international profile with their innovative designs. Cristal Art's products drew inspiration from traditional glass making techniques, industrial design, and contemporary art. However, the company closed in 1996 following the passing of founder Giovanni Donna. Much desired by collectors, Cristal Art remains renowned for its high-quality silvered mirrors and stylish glass designs.
