A vintage Mid-Century modern pair of Italian Japanese farmers with a large black hat made of hand blown clear Murano glass, designed and produced by Pino Signoretto in good condition. The detailed décor pieces represent a woman and man. Signed at the bottom. Manufacturer label at the base. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1970 - 1980, Italy.

Pino Signoretto was an Italian designer and glass artist born in 1944, in Italy and passed in 2017. In 1954, Signoretto started working at a chandelier glass workshop, where he learned from great masters, such as Alfredo Barbini and Livio Seguso, etc. In 1960, he became a master glassmaker. In 1978, Signoretto opened his own studio in Murano, Italy. Over the years he has worked with many well-known artists and architects, including Dali, Vedova and Licata.
