A vintage Mid-Century modern pair of French Tubular chaise lounge chairs made of hand crafted metal, designed by Jean Royère in good condition. The rare hand painted perforated Z-shape garden chairs still have the original historical patina. Wear consistent with age and use. Dated 1937, Paris, France.

Jean Royère was a French designer, born in 1922, in Paris, France and passed away 1981, in Pennsylvania, United States. In 1944, Royère founded his own company in Paris. He has been regarded as one of the most innovative designers of the 20th Century. His furniture is highly regarded across the world to this day.
