20th Century French Set of a Oak Love Bench & Armchair by Guillerme et Chambron
pe-1625
A vintage Mid-Century French living room set comprising a two-seater love bench and a single armchair, hand-crafted in bleached oak and designed by the celebrated duo Guillerme et Chambron. Newly upholstered in a luxurious white bouclé fabric, the set highlights the sculptural geometry and warm tactility characteristic of the designers' work.
The compact, half-rounded settee features a smooth backrest without armrests and is accented on each side by Guillerme et Chambron’s signature extended glass holders. It is elevated on five intricately carved legs, showcasing the atelier’s refined craftsmanship.
The matching lounge chair echoes the same graceful silhouette, with a gently inclined spindled backrest, two arched armrests, and four sturdy oak legs. Both pieces are in good condition with light wear consistent with age and use.
