20th Century Italian Barovier Murano Glass Tear-Drop Pendant by Ercole Barovier

A vintage Mid-Century modern Italian chandelier made of hand blown smoked Murano glass, designed by Ercole Barovier and produced by Barovier & Toso in good condition. The detailed tall, round pendant is composed with six twisted drops which are supported by a metal base, the top part is particularized by a thorn cup. The ceiling lamp contains a six light socket. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1940 - 1960, Murano, Italy.
