A rectangular, vintage Mid-Century modern Swedish coffee, sofa table made of hand crafted polished Teakwood, designed by Svante Skogh and produced by Seffle in good condition. The Scandinavian side table is standing on four curved feet, supported by a wooden base. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1960, Sweden, Scandinavia.
Svante Skogh was a Swedish designer born in Sweden and passed away in Sweden. Skogh’s personal life and professional training remain lost in history. He is best known for his midcentury design produced by the Swedish Manufacturer Seffle (Saeffle). Skogh designed furniture, which ranged from coffee tables, dining tables to storage solutions. His most famous work was the Bodoe Series in 1957 of armchairs and sofas for Seffle. Today, Skogh designs are highly inquired and popular for his high quality joinery and materials.
