1950s Italian Saporiti Extendable Mahogany Table by Vittorio Introini

A vintage Mid-Century modern Italian extendable geometric dining room table made of hand crafted polished Mahogany and Rosewood, designed by Vittorio Introini and produced by Saporiti in good condition. The folding game, card table is composed with two drop-leaf, enhanced by a detailed carved table top. The center table is supported by a pyramidal wooden base. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1960, Italy.

Vittorio Introini is, was an Italian furniture designer and artist, born in 1935, in Italy. Introini's 's personal life and professional training remains lost in history.

Saporiti Italia is an Italian furniture manufacturer, founded in 1950, in Italy by Sergio Saporiti and is still until today under control of the Saporiti family. They are know for their elegant, high end luxury furniture. During the time period, many well-known designers and architects have worked for and with them, such as Pierluigi Cerri, Carlos Zapata, Claudio Nardi, etc.
