A single, vintage Mid-Century modern American rocking lounge chair made of hand crafted polished Walnut, designed by Vladimir Kagan and produced by Vladimir Kagan Designs Inc, in good condition. The seat, backrest of the sculptural, curved armchair is supported by the merged armrests, wooden legs. Restored, refurbished and hand polished. Newly upholstered in a white bouclé fabric from Pierre Frey. Model Nr. 175-F. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1956, United States.

The center chair belong to the family Melvin and Audrey Troy, their home was designed by Vladimir Kagan in 1966 at Sand's Point, Long Island, New York.
