A small, vintage Mid-Century modern Danish small side, sofa table made of hand crafted polished Teakwood, designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard in good condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1960, Denmark. Scandinavia.

Jens Harald Quistgaard was a Danish designer and sculptor born in 1919, in Copenhagen, Denmark and passed away in 2008. Quistgaard was trained as a sculptor by his father Harald Quistgaard and later he finished his apprenticeship as a drawer and silversmith at The Technical School, in Copenhagen. From the Mid -Century his designs became conterminously with Scandinavian modern and found their way into millions of homes in the USA, Europe and Japan. Many of Quistgaard works are still produced today.
