20th Century Italian Small Mahogany Schirolli Mantova Writing Table by Gio Ponti

A vintage Mid-Century modern Italian writing table made of hand carved Mahogany, designed by Gio Ponti and produced by Schirolli Mantova in good condition. This rectangular desk has a white-grey formica top and three drawers, each featuring a manufacturer label. The small freestanding desk has four slightly curved wooden legs. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1940 - 1950, Milan, Italy.
