20th Century Swedish Two Seater Beech Sofa by Möbel Komponerad AV & Carl Malmsten

A small, vintage Mid-Century modern Swedish two-seater sofa with two pillows, made of hand crafted polished Beechwood, designed by Carl Malmsten and produced by Möbel Komponerad AV in good condition. The button-tufted seat backrest of the Scandinavian canapé, settee is slightly curved with gently outstretched armrests, standing on four small straight wooden feet. Manufacturer label at the bottom of the base. Newly upholstered in a white-grey cotton velour fabric. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1930 - 1950, Sweden, Scandinavia.
