A large, vintage Mid-Century modern Swedish three-seater " Home Evening " sofa or settee with two pillows, designed by Carl Malmsten for O.H. Sjögren and Stoppmöbler, Tranås in good condition. The button-tufted, tall seat backrest of the Scandinavian canapé is slightly inclined with wide, gently outstretched round armrests, standing on four small straight polished Beechwood feet. Manufacturer label underneath the sofa. Newly upholstered in a light-grey, white cotton velour fabric. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1940 - 1960, Sweden, Scandinavia.

During the process of gettin re-upholstered we found old pictures of the original color of the sofa with most likely family pictures which will be added.
